Belgian School presentation : HELHA

The CG Academy is the digital imaging department of the Haute Ecole Louvain en Hainaut and consists of three pillars, ANIM, a course dedicated to the production of 2D and 3D images and animations, VFX, a course dedicated to the production of visual effects and special effects, combining compositing and 3D creation and GAME, a course dedicated to the production of digital images for video games and the design of virtual worlds using Real Time 3D tools.

SpielFabrique MATCH European Coproduction program for video games

MATCH is a yearly program started in 2018 and powered by SpielFabrique. Originally Franco-German, it now includes over fifteen European countries every year. The objective is to promote interaction between studios from partner countries by providing them a platform to meet, but also to facilitate coproduction development by bringing expertise in the field.

EVA is an acceleration programme that enables Indie game studios to become more professional, develop and finance ambitious international projects and build their growth strategy as a company. The accelerator programme runs annually and is targeted at ambitious European Indie game studios who show great potential for growth.

Meet & Build and WALGA presentation to international representatives

WALGA is the official association representing the video games industry in Wallonia. For almost ten years, Meet & Build has been the leading conference for video game developers in Belgium. Since the post-Covid revival in 2022, two days of international and business meetings have been successfully added to the programme. In just three years, the event has become the industry’s benchmark, particularly for young players such as independent studios, start-ups, freelancers, schools and students. This presentation is aimed at international representatives interested in organising and supporting a delegation from their country in 2025.

GameForce presentation to international representatives

GameForce is Belgium’s biggest video games consumer show. Held in Brussels in mid-October, the event is associated with two others (Made In Asia and Comicon), which together account for over 75,000 admissions. For the 2025 edition, the collaboration between the organiser, Unlocked and WALGA will propose national pavilions for the delegations from the various countries taking part in Meet & Buid. The aim is to give visibility to independent games from different countries, with or without the presence of their creators, and then to take part in the Meet & Build B2B programme during the same week.
