Meet and build 2025 - Postponed
In light of the difficult situation WALGA has been facing for several months due to delays in the renewal of our operating grant, the team and the board have decided to postpone this year's edition of Meet & Build. We hope that this is only a temporary measure and that the situation will improve by the beginning of next year in order to relaunch our industry's flagship event.
We can be proud of the results of the three previous editions, since the post-Covid relaunch with an extended three-day format.
The highlight of the international relations forged by WALGA around the world, Meet & Build has enabled dozens of speakers not only to share their knowledge with hundreds of participants from the Walloon ecosystem, but also to develop fruitful collaborations between themselves.
Whether they are studio directors and their teams, start-ups and project leaders, freelancers, schools, students, industry associations, public organisations, publishers and investors, whether Walloon, Belgian or international, all agreed on the quality of the event, which placed participants in a professional but also warm and welcoming environment that is unique in the world and promotes the Walloon video game ecosystem internationally.
We would like to thank all our partners who have supported us and made it possible to organise these three fabulous editions. Like many others, we will cherish excellent memories and are delighted to share with you soon the recordings of all the conferences from the 2024 edition.
