PRESENTATION
Meet & Build was created in 2015 to coincide with the opening of the Quai 10 gaming space, a cultural center offering four cinemas, a brasserie and a space unique in Belgium offering a curation of video games, mostly indie, every month.
The desire of the City of Charleroi and its mayor Paul Magnette to promote this medium, as well as its creators and the local, Walloon and Belgian ecosystems, has contributed to the birth of Belgium’s first B2B conference.

The conferences on Saturday were all of exceptional quality thanks to our speakers from four different continents and our Belgian moderators. In the afternoon, Belgian streamers Chloé and Tahiti & Tricky, accompanied by the French Morrigh4n, presented the developers and their video games during our first Twitch stream session, live on stage and in front of the audience.
On Thursday and Friday, the international and business meetings brought together more than 200 participants who, thanks to the matchmaking app, held 232 meetings in the private area of the brasserie. The first day's programme included over 30 presentations from industry associations, schools, public bodies and service companies. The second day kicked off with a pitch session for investors with a dozen project leaders, half of them Belgian and the other half European (from the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, Ukraine, etc.) thanks to our partnership with SpielFabrique.
