In 2013, Molly co-founded <\/span>Arcane Circus<\/span><\/a>, the game studio behind \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Crap! I’m Broke<\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00bb and the Kaiju-based pan media IP \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Zenibeasts<\/span><\/a>\u00ab\u00a0, whose recently released animated short \u201c<\/span>Kaiju Cutie<\/span><\/a>\u201d just blew up on YouTube. Molly freelances for clients such as Netflix, Universal Pictures, <\/span>Night School Studios<\/span><\/a>, BBC, <\/span>Impact Gameworks<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Crackshell Games<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Anikey Studios<\/span><\/a>. She also gives lectures about creature design at conferences and schools all over the world.<\/span><\/p>

Creature design is a weird science and YOU are the mad professor! Designing unholy abominations may be fun, but it is also hard work. There is a method to the madness. Creature designers combine knowledge of real world animals and fantastic ideas with clear and communicative sketching.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

In this lecture, Molly Heady-Carroll will take you through the entire gruesome process of designing creatures. Her methods may be unconventional, but her creations might just be crazy enough to work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
